Former Press Counselor at the Colombian Embassy in Washington, D.C., senior advisor at Albright Stonebridge Group, and co-host of the global affairs podcast Altamar. MA in Latin American Studies from Georgetown University.

Strategic Advisor
Maria Rocio Vargas is a strategic consultant for Goldleaf Advisory. A lawyer from Universidad de los Andes specialized in public management, and candidate a Master’s in International Business and Policy at Georgetown University.
She began her career at law firms DeVivero y Asociados and PPU. In 2018, she joined the Duque Colombian Presidency as Advisor to the Chief of Cabinet. Maria later represented ProColombia in Washington, D.C..She now advises companies, associations, and nonprofits of the Americas.
